When Tesla unveiled the Cybertruck back in 2019, Tesla said that the electric pickup truck would make it to market by the end of 2021. Musk allegedly said that ramp-up of the truck will be very difficult due to plethora of new technology. Musk had already hinted in a July call that the Model Y \u201cobviously does take priority over the Cybertruck.&#8221; &#8220;It will be a special project. Like a glitch in the Matrix. Like if Neo had a car&#8221;, said Musk about the Cybertruck.<\/p>\n<p>Tesla has quietly updated the ordering page for the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/evglobe.com\/2021\/07\/04\/tesla-cybertruck-four-wheel-steering\/\">Cybertruck<\/a> to reflect the start of production has been pushed back to 2022. Musk claims the tri-motor Tesla Cybertruck can tow 14,000 pounds yet out-handle a Porsche 911. All of that sounds very expensive and it likely will be in the end.
