The coupe-styled sports utility vehicle with zero emissions then made an appearance as a prototype during the IAA Munich show last month. Finally, the production version will break cover next week, on November 3.<\/p>\n<p>The announcement was made by one of the company\u2019s official social media accounts, revealing the sleeker silhouette of the all-electric SUV twinned with the upcoming <a href=\"https:\/\/evglobe.com\/2021\/10\/22\/skoda-enyaq-coupe-teaser-video\/\">Skoda Enyaq Coupe iV<\/a> and the already revealed Audi Q4 Sportback E-Tron. While VW has only been talking about the sportier GTX derivative, it will be interesting to see whether there are plans to sell the model in lesser trim levels.<\/p>\n<p>We are expecting the technical specifications to mirror those of the ID.4 GTX, meaning the equivalent ID.5 GTX will feature a dual-motor setup with all-wheel drive and 295 horsepower (220 kilowatts). The ID.5 GTX could have the same electronically governed top speed of 112 mph (180 km\/h), but that remains to be seen.<\/p>\n<p>As far as the battery is concerned, the engineers might install the 77-kWh pack, which in the case of the ID.4 GTX, it provides enough juice for 298 miles (480 kilometers). Nothing is official at this point, but the ID.5 GTX could be a tad more efficient due to its swoopy shape.
