The BMW i7 was teased earlier today in a press conference hosted by BMW CEO Oliver Zipse. And for the first time, we also got to see its front-end design. The fullsize electric limo was shownwithout any camouflage. And not surprisingly, the BMW i7 will inherit the bold front kidney grille design from the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=mCaBa8eRrok\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Concept XM<\/a>. It has an illuminated contour and is complemented by the backlit roundel.<\/p>\n<p>The thin LED strip serves as the daytime running lights since the main clusters are located lower on the bumper. Flush door handles that electronically pop out are also noticeable in the BMW i7 and they\u2019re likely similar to those of the iX. They will also close automatically, similar to those in a Rolls-Royce. We also got to see not only the iDrive 8 with the dual screens, but also the 31-inch, 8K-compatible\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bmwblog.com\/2022\/01\/05\/bmw-theatre-screen-31-inch-size\/\">Theatre Screen<\/a>\u00a0in the back.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/evglobe.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/2023-BMW-i7-teaser-1-1.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-16371\" src=\"https:\/\/evglobe.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/2023-BMW-i7-teaser-1-1-696x405.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"696\" height=\"405\" srcset=\"https:\/\/evglobe.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/2023-BMW-i7-teaser-1-1-696x405.jpeg 696w, https:\/\/evglobe.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/2023-BMW-i7-teaser-1-1-1068x621.jpeg 1068w, https:\/\/evglobe.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/2023-BMW-i7-teaser-1-1-1536x893.jpeg 1536w, https:\/\/evglobe.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/2023-BMW-i7-teaser-1-1-2048x1191.jpeg 2048w, https:\/\/evglobe.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/2023-BMW-i7-teaser-1-1-1920x1117.jpeg 1920w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 696px) 100vw, 696px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The familiar crystal finish has been implemented in the dashboard of the i7 where it\u2019s illuminated by the ambient lighting. Speaking of which, there are LED light threads that can be individually adjusted. Interestingly, there is an extra screen with built-in controls on the passenger side of the dash, called \u201cInteraction Bar.\u201d For its next-gen range topper, BMW has developed a new Sky Lounge panoramic glass roof.<\/p>\n<p>Development boss Frank Weber confirms the BMW i7 will have over 600 hp, making it the most potent 7 Series. The unspecified battery pack will enable a maximum range of 379 miles (610 kilometers) in the WLTP cycle. For the US-spec i7, the company estimates a range of 305 miles (491 kilometers). Additionally, he goes on to say the i7 supports Level 2+ autonomy and is technically capable to meet Level 3 requirements.
