It was the talk of the town for several days, as car enthusiasts were in love with its modern, sleek, top-down design. At the time, Polestar didn\u2019t confirm whether or not it would build the stunning convertible but now, it\u2019s been confirmed. The O2 concept will officially become the Polestar 6 and it&#8217;s a gorgeous one.<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s start with what the Polestar 6 is. It\u2019s an all-wheel drive, dual-motor, all-electric, two-seat roadster with a futuristic design and tons of power. It looks every bit like a Polestar while also separating itself from the brand\u2019s other vehicles. It\u2019s a lovely piece of automotive design and one that most brands should be envious of.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/evglobe.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/Polestar-02-Concept-2-of-6.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-16951\" src=\"https:\/\/evglobe.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/Polestar-02-Concept-2-of-6-1068x801.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"696\" height=\"522\" srcset=\"https:\/\/evglobe.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/Polestar-02-Concept-2-of-6-1068x801.jpg 1068w, https:\/\/evglobe.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/Polestar-02-Concept-2-of-6-696x522.jpg 696w, https:\/\/evglobe.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/Polestar-02-Concept-2-of-6.jpg 1440w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 696px) 100vw, 696px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Under that breathtaking sheet metal is a bespoke, bonded EV architecture that provides 800-volt charging and dual electric motors. The official figures of the Polestar 6 are a whopping 884 horsepower and 663 lb-ft of torque. According to Polestar, it will reach 0-602 mph in 3.2 seconds, which sounds incredibly conservative. Unless it weighs as much as nuclear submarine, the Polestar 6 should break into the high twos to 60 mph. Tesla has been boasting about how fast its theoretical new Roadster is for years, despite never actually building it.
