Technical specifications have not been disclosed, but a previous leak revealed an output of 308 horsepower (230 kilowatts)\u00a0and 280 miles (450 kilometers) of WLTP-certified range. The cute EV is expected to hit 62 mph (100 km\/h) in just 5.2 seconds and could offer a solar roof for additional efficiency.<\/p>\n

The aforementioned range will be applicable for the Ioniq 5 equipped with a 58-kWh battery, but we\u2019re hearing a bigger 73-kWh pack is also reportedly planned and will have enough juice for up to 342 miles (550 km) of range. Only five minutes of charging will be enough for more than 62 miles (100 km) of driving.<\/p>\n
Hyundai\u2019s all-new EV will be 4,640 mm (182.6 inches) long, 1,890 mm (74.4 inches) wide, 1,600 mm (63 inches) tall, and with a wheelbase measuring 3,000 mm (118.1 inches), meaning the front and rear overhangs will be extremely short.<\/p>\n
