The electric small hatchback should be well worth the wait as now we\u2019re hearing the company with the bowtie emblem has \u201clistened to customers\u201d while developing the mid-cycle update.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s the promise made by Steve Majoros, Chevrolet&#8217;s Vice President of Marketing, in a recent interview with our colleagues at <a href=\"https:\/\/gmauthority.com\/blog\/2021\/01\/chevrolet-listened-to-customers-for-upcoming-bolt-ev-refresh\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>GM Authority<\/em><\/a>. While he didn\u2019t go into specific details, it\u2019s refreshing to hear customer feedback remains relevant, even when an automaker is preparing only a facelift compared to a next-generation model.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-3617\" src=\"https:\/\/evglobe.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Chevy-Bolt-EUV-teaser-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/evglobe.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Chevy-Bolt-EUV-teaser-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/evglobe.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Chevy-Bolt-EUV-teaser-1024x1024.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/evglobe.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Chevy-Bolt-EUV-teaser-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/evglobe.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Chevy-Bolt-EUV-teaser-768x768.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>GM has had an extensive teaser campaign for the 2022 Bolt, but the model previewed so far has actually been the new EUV. Essentially a crossover version, the slightly larger model will ride on the same GM BEVII architecture used by the hatchback, with both slated to adopt the Super Cruise semi-autonomous driving system.<\/p>\n<p>While the outgoing Bolt offers 259 miles (416 kilometers) of range, a recent teaser suggests Chevy has made improvements to the vehicle\u2019s efficiency. The EV is expected to cover roughly 277 miles (445 kilometers) between charges, but it\u2019s unclear whether it will be from the same 66-kWh lithium-ion battery or a larger pack.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2720\" src=\"https:\/\/evglobe.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/2022-chevy-bolt-euv-headlight-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/evglobe.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/2022-chevy-bolt-euv-headlight-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/evglobe.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/2022-chevy-bolt-euv-headlight-1024x1024.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/evglobe.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/2022-chevy-bolt-euv-headlight-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/evglobe.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/2022-chevy-bolt-euv-headlight-768x768.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>One of the issues expected to be addressed with the upcoming 2022MY is the availability of a sunroof, at least in the case of the Bolt EUV. The facelift will also see the introduction of <a href=\"https:\/\/evglobe.com\/2020\/12\/16\/2022-chevy-bolt-euv-teaser\/\">sequential LED turn signals<\/a> \u2013 representing a first for a production Chevrolet model.
