After learning about Dodge&#8217;s radical plan to launch an <a href=\"https:\/\/evglobe.com\/2021\/07\/08\/dodge-fully-electric-muscle-car-teased-debuts-in-2024\/\">electric muscle car in 2024<\/a> and Opel&#8217;s intentions to go <a href=\"https:\/\/evglobe.com\/2021\/07\/08\/opel-manta-e-teaser\/\">EV-only by 2028<\/a>, it&#8217;s now Ram&#8217;s turn to reveal what it&#8217;s working on.<\/p>\n<p>During the news-packed Stellantis EV Day 2021, Ram showed a teaser image depicting a fully electric 1500 pickup truck scheduled to go on sale in 2024. The utilitarian vehicle has an impressively sleek profile, which makes us wonder whether we&#8217;re looking at the actual production vehicle or simply a concept. Either way, expect the full-width light bar to make it to the road-going vehicle, which will hopefully have a larger bed.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8762\" src=\"https:\/\/evglobe.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/2024-Ram-1500-EV-teaser.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1702\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Technical specifications remain shrouded in mystery for the time being, although we do know the Ram 1500 BEV will ride on Stellantis&#8217; upcoming STLA Frame architecture. It&#8217;s promising to deliver a maximum range of up to 800 kilometers (500 miles), although realistically speaking, the electric 1500 is unlikely to match that if you plan on fully loading the bed.<\/p>\n<p>Coinciding with the electric pickup truck announcement is Ram&#8217;s reveal of a new motto: &#8220;Built to Serve a Sustainable Planet.&#8221; The company vows to offer a fully electric product in most of the segments it competes by the middle of the decade. In other words, it means the likes of the ProMaster and ProMaster City will get an EV derivative within the next four years. Why not all segments? Likely because Ram needs more time to roll out a fully electric heavy duty (HD) truck.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8770\" src=\"https:\/\/evglobe.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/Ram-teaser.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1807\" height=\"1073\" \/><\/p>\n<p>As a matter of fact, Ram pledges to &#8220;deliver a full portfolio of electric solutions for our all our segments&#8221; by the end of the decade.
