It was only last week when Mercedes announced through a teaser image that there will be a high-end Maybach version of the EQS SUV<\/a> and now the very same preview photo is making the headlines again. Why? Because Daimler design chief Gorden Wagener shared it on his personal Instagram<\/em> account where he disclosed a juicy tidbit: “More to come at IAA Mobility in Munich in early September 2021. Stay tuned!”<\/p>\n

Reading between the lines, it can only mean the Maybach EQS SUV will premiere in a little over a month from now at the show in Germany. However, it’s worth noting we’re likely dealing with a concept rather than a production vehicle since the EQS SUV won’t be officially revealed until 2022. Nevertheless, we have reasons to believe the IAA-bound concept will be quite close to the road-going model.<\/p>\n
