After Hyundai introduced the Ioniq 5<\/a> and Kia the EV6 earlier this year, all eyes are now on Genesis to present its electric crossover riding on the same E-GMP platform developed exclusively for EVs. The official reveal has to be around the corner since the GV60 has been spotted testing repeatedly in recent months and rumors are strongly suggesting it will be launched in the United States before year’s end.<\/p>\n

In the meantime, the zero-emissions crossover has passed South Korea’s emission and noise certification test, which might not sound newsworthy, but this mandatory process reveals some juicy tidbits. For example, we now officially know it’s going to be called GV60 as plenty of reports have stated, and we also get to find out it will be available in both single- and dual-motor configurations.<\/p>\n
